Friend Boost and Invite Rewards
Players earn more for every Roblox friend playing in the same server (the Friend Boost), and get a reward for each friend they bring in. The HUD's Friend Boost line shows the bonus, and its "+" opens Roblox's invite window. The Extra is Invite Rewards, and its id in GameData is invite_rewards.
Turn it on#
- On the website, switch on Invite Rewards in your design's Extras panel (Data Saving comes on too), then export and install.
- Open ServerScriptService > BloxGame > GameData and find
GameData.Features.invite_rewards. Pick the reward currency and amounts (below). - Publish the game and test it with a friend in a live server. Invites and friend checks need two real accounts that are Roblox friends.
The Friend Boost#
- Every player earns
friendBonusPercent% more for each Roblox friend in the same server, up tofriendBonusMax%. To start: +10% per friend, +50% at most. - It counts wherever earnings are multiplied (clicking, tycoons, offline earnings) and on the boost chips'
AttrFriendschip. - The HUD line
FriendBoostshowsfriendBoostText: "Friend Boost: +20%". Clicking it, or its "+" (FriendBoostPlus), opens the invite window.
Invite rewards#
- A player presses Invite: a design button with the id or event
InviteFriends, the Friend Boost "+", or the Party and Social screens. With none in your design, a small "Invite +250" button appears on the right edge. - Roblox's invite window opens and they pick friends.
- A friend joins for the first time ever and plays for
minPlayMinutes. The friend getsfriendReward, and the inviter getsinviterReward, even if they're in another server or offline (then on their next join).
To stop farming with alt accounts, the friend must be a Roblox friend of the inviter, with an account at least minAccountAgeDays old, and each player can only pay one inviter, once. Inviters get at most maxPerDay rewards a day and maxTotal ever.

Troubleshooting#
- "Invites aren't available right now." Roblox doesn't allow an invite here: in Studio, or because of the player's age or privacy settings. Test in the published game.
- The Friend Boost stays at +0%: only Roblox friends in the same server count. Your two test accounts must be friends.
- No invite reward: the friend must be new to your game, a Roblox friend, old enough, and play for 3 minutes. Test accounts are often brand new: set
minAccountAgeDays = 0while you test, then put it back. - Players get two invite rewards: your design's Social screen has its own Invite reward, paid separately. Keep one of the two.
- The Friend Boost line never changes:
friendBoostElementmust match the line's id in your design (FriendBoost).
