BloxMaps documentation

How to make the maps and game UIs you create on BloxMaps actually work in your Roblox game. Plain words, real code, and prompts you can hand to Claude or ChatGPT.

A map in four steps#

  1. Describe it at bloxmaps.com/create: "pirate island with a volcano and a village". A map takes about a minute.
  2. Get the BloxMaps Cloud plugin and link your Studio with the code it shows (Export to Studio).
  3. Press One-click build in the plugin. The models go to your Roblox account and the map lands in Workspace.BloxMap.
  4. Script it. Spawns, checkpoints, chests and zones are tagged markers your scripts can find (Markers and spawns).

A game UI in five steps#

  1. Design it. Describe your game at bloxmaps.com/ui/create and look through every screen on desktop and phone.
  2. Export it. Sign in and press Export. You get an .rbxmx for your game, a starter place, and Send to Studio for the BloxMaps Cloud plugin. Getting started shows all three.
  3. Press Play in Studio. The UI builds itself when the game runs. Nothing to wire up to see it.
  4. Open the two hook scripts. Every export comes with <Name>_UIHooks (client) and <Name>_ServerHooks (server): an empty handler for every button, product and reward, and a checklist. See Scripting your UI. Want saving, Robux products or daily rewards ready-made? Switch on Extras before you export. Making a simulator or tycoon? The Simulator and tycoon kit sets up its zones, rebirths, boost chips and more.
  5. Fill them in, or let AI do it. Press Copy AI prompt under your design and paste it into Claude or ChatGPT (how), then test in Studio.

The one rule for game code#
