Roblox UI maker
Describe your game and get every screen it needs (title screen, HUD, shop, inventory, settings and more), designed to fit together, then put it in Roblox Studio. It's real Roblox UI with its scripts, not a mockup picture you rebuild by hand.
What it makes
Type a sentence like "a pet simulator with eggs, trading and rebirths". The UI Designer reads the genre and works out which screens that game needs, then designs them in one style:
- HUD: currency counters, the main buttons, boosts and timers, laid out for the genre.
- Shop: tabs and item cards with prices, including Robux items.
- Menus: title screen, inventory, settings, daily rewards and whatever else the game calls for.
Options let you pick the style, light or dark panels, the HUD layout, the fonts and more, or leave everything on Auto. You can also add reference pictures so the design takes their colours and style. Each design shows every screen and tab as a picture, on a desktop and on a phone, before you export anything.

How it works
- Open the UI Designer and describe your game in a sentence or two.
- Pick options, or leave them on Auto. Instant designs work on every plan; AI designs are slower and more original, on the Studio plan or with your own AI key.
- Press Design my UI, then flip through every screen on desktop and phone.
- Not right? Change the prompt or an option and design again.
- Happy? Export it. The first export of a design uses one export from your plan (the same exports maps use), then export credits. Downloading the same design again is free.
On the Free plan you can make 3 previews a day (UIs, maps and games together); the plans make more; see pricing for the rest.
Getting it into Roblox Studio
| Option | What you get | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Add to my game (.rbxmx) | A model file with everything the UI needs in one folder | You already have a game |
| Starter place (.rbxlx) | A baseplate place with the UI already installed | You're starting fresh or just trying it |
| Send to Studio | The BloxMaps Cloud plugin inserts it into your open place | You have the plugin; best for updates |
The UI comes with a small runtime that builds it when a player joins, plus two hook scripts (one on the client, one on the server) where you connect buttons to your own game. The UI Designer docs show where every piece lands in the Explorer.
Extras: game systems behind the buttons
A design can include Extras: ready-made game systems the UI is built for, such as data saving, Robux products and game passes. On the Studio plan they're all included; on other plans you unlock one on a design for one export. See the Extras docs for the list.
Want the whole game, not just the UI? The Game Maker builds the UI together with the map, shop and gameplay in one Studio file.
When to build UI by hand instead
A designer gets you a full, consistent set of screens fast. Building by hand in Studio is still the better choice when you need one very unusual screen, an exact copy of a sketch you've drawn, or when you're learning how ScreenGuis, frames and layouts work (which is worth doing at least once). Many creators mix both: generate the set, then adjust a few screens by hand in Studio's Explorer and Properties.
Tips for great Roblox game UI
- One main button per screen. Players should know what to press without reading.
- Icon plus a short word on buttons; colour means something (green = go, red = close or danger).
- Keep the middle of the screen clear during play; counters at the edges.
- Design for phones first: big buttons, nothing important in the corners where thumbs and the Roblox menu are.
- Match the genre: a horror game's UI should be quiet and dark; a simulator's can be bright and busy.

Questions
Is the UI Designer free?
On the Free plan you can make 3 previews a day (UIs, maps and games together); the plans make more, and looking through every screen is free. Exporting a design to Studio uses one of your plan's monthly exports or an export credit. See pricing.
How does the UI get into Roblox Studio?
Three ways: a model file to add to your game (.rbxmx), a starter place with the UI installed (.rbxlx), or Send to Studio with the BloxMaps Cloud plugin.
Does it work on phones?
The designs are made for phone and desktop screens, and you can preview both before exporting.
Do the buttons work, or is it just a picture?
It's real Roblox UI with its scripts: screens open and close and tabs switch. Connecting buttons to your own game logic happens in the hook scripts it comes with.
